• All Sheriff Sales starting bids will be two-thirds of the appraised amount.

This second auction shall be held not earlier than seven days and not later than thirty days after the first auction.
• A residential property that remains unsold after two auctions may be subsequently offered for sale without regard to the minimum bid requirement.

• Down payments must be in cash, money order, certified check or cashier’s check, made payable to the Licking County Sheriff’s Office. The down payment must be received by the Sheriff’s Office no later than 2:00 pm the day of sale.
• The purchaser shall be responsible for cost, allowance, and taxes that the proceeds of the sale are insufficient to cover.
• The Sheriff’s Office does not guarantee a clear title. A title search is recommended.
• Balance of purchase price is due within 30 days after confirmation of sale.
